Altinpark Neighborhood

In Turkey, town of Armutlu is located just across the coastal of Istanbul which have 16 million inhabitants. Armutlu gave its name to the peninsula which it is located in, and it is located at the far end of this peninsula. It is a small town with a population of 7 thousand. However, due to its close relation to Istanbul, having beaches, and being part of a large forest spreading across the peninsula, the population reaches up to 70 thousand in the summer season. It is also a part of health tourism because of it’s on thermal water resource. Therefore, an important part of the buildings in Armutlu consists of summer houses, thermal hotels and holiday villages.

The Altınpark Residential Complex is located at the headland where above the sea and the forest. It is a complex consisting of 630 residences, outdoor and indoor sports areas, thermal lounges and a small commercial facility that can serve the site and its vicinity. The buildings were placed parallel to the slope and each apartment has a sea wiew. 1,2 and 3-bedroom apartment typologies are designed with living space according to needs. For the apartments, private gardens at the ground floors and private terraces at the roof floors are provided.

Outdoor swimming pools are designed where the site is connected to the sea. Service areas such as small kiosk and changing cabins, which can serve for the residents, have also been created.
